UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH EDUCATION SERIES
The Office of Undergraduate Research offers educational events on topics of interest to undergraduate student researchers
and their faculty mentors. These events are open to all and are designed specifically
with undergraduate students in mind.
Events in the Undergraduate Research Education Events cover topics such as:
- human subjects research ethics
- the Institutional Review Board
- writing abstracts
- creating effective posters
- community-based research
- data management
- public speaking

BECOME A CITIZEN ACTIVIST - Nov. 8th, 3-4:30PM, LNCO Room 2110. Join us to learn
how to become an active citizen in your community. Lean how to lobby, write an op-ed
with a presentation by Tim Fitzpatrick from the Salt Lake Tribune, and connect with local and state non-profits to see how
you can make an impact.
