Student Involvement
Students in the Environmental Studies program can benefit from the social activities and volunteer opportunities planned by the Student Advisory Committee. Students are also welcome to volunteer to help with the advisory committee. Students are encouraged to participate in environmental causes through student organizations. Our mailing list can keep you apprised of volunteer opportunities on and off campus. We encourage our students to participate in the College’s Student Research Day.
Transfer Students
To become an Environmental Studies student, you must be a matriculated student at the University of Utah. Please refer to the University Admissions Office to learn about the application process for transfer students. If you are transferring from other Utah schools, we have articulation information.
Graduating Seniors
Students ready to graduate or those thinking about graduation should schedule an appointment with an adviser. You may also want to look into environmental career opportunities and environmental graduate schools.
